Dr Sharmila Sunita Paramasivam is a highly experienced endocrinologist with expertise in thyroidology, adrenal and parathyroid disease, Type 1 and 2 Diabetes Mellitus, pituitary disease, osteoporosis, and endocrine disorders in pregnancy. Having been an Associate Professor in Medicine at University Malaya, she was also actively involved in research and medical education. Dr Sharmila was also on the writing committees of the Malaysian Type 2 Diabetes and Osteoporosis Clinical Practice Guidelines. A Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh), her years of clinical practice and academic involvement have shaped her into a trusted specialist in managing endocrine and metabolic conditions.
