About the Doctor 

Dr Chong Hoong Yin is a Consultant General & Colorectal Surgeon with over 22 years of experience in his field. His area of expertise covers colorectal cancer surgery, laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgery, gastroscopy and colonoscopy, endoanal ultrasound and anal manometry, haemorrhoidal surgery-laser haemorrhoidoplasty (LHP), anal fistula surgery-fistula laser closure surgery. Dr Chong Hoong Yin is also a certified robotic surgeon and proctor at Hospital Picaso, Malaysia. He is the only Colorectal Surgeon in Malaysia to have successfully accomplished more than a hundred robotic colorectal cases.
