About the Doctor

Dr Tan, Consultant Oncologist at Hospital Picaso specialises in the areas of radiotherapy, breast cancer, chemotherapy, brain metastases in lung cancer, colorectal cancer, ovarian cancer, and systemic cancer therapy. He has contributed his vast knowledge in various research publications as a primary investigator and co-investigator, talks on diverse cancer diseases and treatments, and international conferences. He was also awarded a travel grant for the ESMO Preceptorship on Head and Neck Cancer in both Hong Kong and Singapore, Merit Awards for a poster presentation on the Gender differences in the risk of developing Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma NPC in one of the highest NPC ethnicities in the world and strong family history of Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma in the Bidayuh.
